The Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences (ACCHS) is one of the original Chinese medicine schools in the USA. Founded in 1982, ACCHS offers pathways to licensure for the practice of Chinese medicine through our Masters and Doctoral programs in addition to licensure as a massage therapist through the practice of Tui Na, Chinese medical massage. Courses are offered in both English and in Mandarin Chinese.

In addition medical licensure programs, we house the Gate School of Feng Shui at our campus.

The Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences is located in vibrant downtown Oakland, California, just across the bay from San Francisco. The Academy’s campus is located near Oakland’s City Center and is easily accessed by the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) public transportation system, and is within walking distance of Oakland’s Chinatown community.

ACCHS programs are overseen and accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM) & The California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC).
