The Objective of the Cincinnati School of Barbering is to produce a graduate sufficiently trained to pass the State of Ohio licensing examination and to find gainful employment in the barbering profession. This is accomplished by providing the complete course in barbering as approved by the Ohio State Barber Board. A secondary objective is to provide the stimulus to encourage those students with higher goals to advance beyound the basic requirements through a combination of faculty leadership, personal attention, encouragement and advanced technical classes.

In order to join CSB you must adhere to the following:

Admission Requirements (State Requirements)

• Application Fee $50.00 (non refundable)
• Must be 17 years of age
• 8th grade education or equivalency test
• Free from infectious disease (blood test)
• Any felonies committed by applicant must be approved by Barber Board
• Copy of birth certificate
• State Registration of $40.00 (must be money order made out to Ohio State Barber Board)
• 3 photos (3×5)

Tuition and Fees

• Full Time Tuition $2.75 Per Hour
• Full Time Total Tuition for course $5,000.00
• Part Time Tuition $5400.00
• Tools Textbooks, Uniforms and sales Tax: 532.45 (subject to change)
• Day Class Full Time: Monthly Payments 1 Payment at $390.00 and 12 payments at $380.00
• Part Time Monthly Payment $3.00 per hour
• Application Fee $50.00
